the following is a true story:



my room mate is an elitist metal head who is into bands like opeth, mnemic, meshuggah, etc. (love him dont get me wrong) and when i asked him his opinion on bring me the horizon he gave me the most pained face i've ever seen and was like, "ughhhhhhhh dude, they're sooooooo bad god. the lead singer kills me inside." i said ok fair enough, and put that conversation to rest...for now.



this was pre-TIAH,BMISI.TIAH,LKIAS (wow). when this album came out i decided to run a little experiment. i put on alligator blood in the car and when he asked who this was i told him it was a band called, the relentless in black (lol), and he was like, damn dude this is pretty good im surprised i haven't heard of them. I then put on fox and the wolf and he said the breakdown in it was so sick. I then told him it was bring me the horizons new album and his opinion toward the two songs immediately changed and i was like wow you're a fag but i still value you as a room mate and friend





so in short dont hate a band for the sake of hating a band because that makes you a fag. this is no lower than a 2.5. i typed way too much in this comment. SWAN DIVE!

also halfway through this vid is a pleasant surprise, but if you dig their first album, this recording is pretty good and it shows how oli can still sorta scream like he used to

hate a band for playing their instruments poorly, not because they look like the hipster fags you laugh at in malls. this website is a prime example of how stubbornly pretentious people can be in their music considerations.

Dude, don't generalize. There are some people who hate BMTH because every one of their songs sounded the same, they were generic, nothing creative, boring, bla bla bla. Some followed the trend. the crowd looks really awesome too..

Everybody seems to hate his new yelling vocal style, but I actually like it. It makes the times when he does actually scream seem harsher, if that makes sense.
