I mean that it fails to make a statement as an album, it has different aspects and concepts it explores, but never brings them together to form anything coherent.

I didn't get anything from the responding comments anyway, because they didn't say anything, they just went on talking about context and shit all YOUR ARGUMENTS ARE FLAWED. plus I don't know what's so hard to understand about what opinion bashing, I read it in context, and I STILL view it as bashing, so chill, it isn't your fault that it came off to me as that. let it be son.

but seriously, you need to lighten up a bit, I didn't intend to come off as a dick here until you lashed back so quickly. sorry if I MADE YOU MAD or anything, apparently I did because you called me retarded, I should just report you for that, but I won't, not because I think it's true, just because i don't want to.

Sometimes i hate this place.

I never picked up the Tera Melos ep or split, but I loved both their full lengths. I didn't like the

idea of TM with vocals but after loving this how would I like their ep and split?

Also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_x6Umwd5YA&feature=related

I feel like Nick has so much he has to think about while playing that it would be hard for him to even

enjoy himself when performing.

As far as I'm concerned this album is the shit. It flows ridiculously well, is insanely instrumentally proficient without being inaccessible and contains a bunch of catchy vocal hooks to boot. The most important thing here though is that they've done something that virtually no one has ever done before (and no, Fang Island isn't like this). This isn't a rehashed version of the untitled album, and I'm okay with that; it seems like a bit of a paradox since their previous mathy-jazz-dissonant-melody-whateverthe fuck music was essentially THE "experimental" sound, but this is the most progressive thing they've ever done and I personally can't fucking wait to see where they go next. Genres literally don't mean shit to these guys.
