Epiphany still destroys, as does the keyboard breakdown in 2012

Battle Royale is my shit. I'm still sad they didn't re-record Casanova Rodeo though.

Well technically they did, because it was on their first demo with Craig Mabbitt and then they redid it with Telle on Empire

relistening to this, lmao this is definitely not a 3 like I have it rated at. my only guess is i wasn't in the "heavy" mood.

Not sure if it's the nostalgia talking but this is by far their best record. A nice blend of technical with the then trendy scenecore. Some of the writing is kinda meh & a lot of the songs would have benefited from being less focused on choruses.
Also the bonus tracks are super underrated.

Embarrassingly excited to see this played in full on their new tour tomorrow! Thousand Below is pretty badass too, so it'll be good checking them out.

Shame they're not gonna play any songs off this anymore after the tour.

They won't even play 2012? I thought they were only retiring most of the songs, not all of them

No, Telle said all of them. Now I have no interest in seeing them live again.

Soooooo. They sounded stellar jamming all the old Deceiver songs ... then they announced they would play 3 encore songs ... I got hyped thinking I was about to hear some empire tracks (Casanova Rodeo, The Only Rule, etc.) ... Misery, Trapped, Why Am I Like This then played. No one moved, no one cared and the songs sucked.
It was actually really sad to watch a band so far past their prime trying to follow up their nostalgic trip by advertising their crappy new material that no one cares for, really low note to end such a great performance on.
