Zero Chance is one of my fav SG songs ever

I guess people look for different things in grunge, hence the different opinions. Having said that:
this > Vitalogy > Tripod > In Utero
Just to be clear, that was an album comparison, not a band conparison.

this > Tripod > Vitalogy > In Utero
for me

Jamin' atm, Pretty Noose is better than I remember.
|
| |
Gardens of sound..nnnnnyyyyees. :l
|
| |
I need to listen to Tripod more though. As much as I love PJ, I'd prob be more willing to jam this or Tripod than Vitalogy. I've heard Vitalogy about 6-7 times at least (maybe once or twice more) and it was enough. Don't think I'll sit with that one ever again.
BTW guys, those of you who haven't jammed TAD - Inhaler should do so ASAP. Underrated grunge gem.

Blow Up the Outside World rules.

Burden in My Hand, omg, such a classic.
|
| |
first 7 songs on this is a powerful string of excellence
|
| |
Agreed.
Switch Opens is a cool track imo.
piss, you're a huge SG fan aren't ya
|
| |
Dang, An Unkind rules, prob my fave on here.
Matt Cameron is easily in my Top 10 Rock Drummers, such an animal.

He is with the Garden but sadly not so much with PJ.
|
| |
I know.
|

This gets better with each listen. It's a real shame that about 29% of it is filler.
|
| |
A hard grower for sure
|
| |
Ty Cobb is one of their most aggressive songs. It feels like a throwback to early SG.
|
| |
Yeah I love how all their albums have some short punk songs on it. Ultramega had Head Injury and
Circle of Power and Badmotorfinger had Face Pollution and Drawing Flies for example.
|
| |
And SUK has Kickstand.
Seriously, Burden in My Hand is a fantastic song, def one of their best. Prob my fave on here.

Still can't believe so many of you guys give it a 3.5. It's one of my favorite albums of all time personally. "Tighter & Tighter" is epic.

I prefer the previous 4 albums, but this rocks. I just like SG's heavier side more
