a lot of the classic ratings are by new users or those that I've never seen before, guessing that they're fans of the band that recently made accounts to vote or could be trolls too idk

Enjoying this so far, the mood of a lot this album seems much more dark and sinister than the disappointing s/t. I felt like the song Fiction caught me the most off guard, a risky song on their part. Nightmare is definately not one of the stronger songs on this album, poor single choice.

BTW, did anyone else think they were listening to dragonforce at times during the song Save Me? Some interesting guitar wankery in that song

"Save Me" did have some different guitar work for them. I liked a harmony or two from it, myself.

I'm not gonna even listen. Have to get back to My Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Brokencyde, and Jonas Bros collection.

Another highly anticipated album (although not sure why) that will be lost in the depth of the itunes library.

Lol did you just say you weren't sure why this was highly anticipated? How's it under that rock?

Nightmare is really mediocre, but the rest of the album is pretty great.

I was actually really impressed by this album. Still no Waking the Fallen by any means, but way better than the S/T. I don't get why everyone is creaming their pants over the breakdown in God Hates Us, I thought that breakdown was horrible. I actually laughed first time I heard it. I used to be a huge A7X fanboy by the way haha

Yeah, the God Hates Us breakdown was awful, but the rest of the song is surprisingly good.

Good review! So much better than hearing, "NOW let's talk about the most anticipated song of all time....Super cool drum part at the "breakdown" followed by a super emotional Shadows (Awe!). 7.3/5."

You get the point...

could have been a great record. improvements are substantial over the last release. more upbeat and powerful songs like "god hates us" would have made this album a real treat. oh well. maybe next time.

yeah, they're on the right track. Not sure what the point was of throwing three of the ballads together in a row on the second half.

I think they tried to start off strong, and soften things up toward the end, then go for the big finish. It seems as though they just recorded these and put them up in chronological order.

Yeah, I wish Tonight the World Dies was replaced with another heavy song. Kinda ruins the flow a bit in the second half.
