Yeah MatM, Springboarders does have a bit of Radiohead. So do one or two others I think.

Didn't think they would have horns live DavID... As they didn't on that YouTube clip I saw. I actually preferred the live version of 'Dead Nationale' over the live version of 'Marigold'... if only slightly. Hopefully, Dennison did Shave's vocal parts proud.
Yeah, every time I think 'Loserspeak...' is not one of the album's highlights, it gets stuck in my head & tells me otherwise But it's also not shallow, it has depth. I love the way the guitar changes so often during its duration.
Great to hear you like the album Dev... But I'm sure it would turn you down for a date.

Thanks sgrevs. Your rating is the lowest thus far... You hater. While I was writing the review, I knew I may have been going over the tope, but every time I listen to the album, I think otherwise.
I think I know where you are coming from with the songs you don't like. It's the more electronic & experimental mid-section. I had the same issue with Boulet's solo album, but I think this album flows a great deal better. In a way, 'Lung Full of Light' is the lynch-pin. If you get into that, I think it will all come together for you.
Davey, you are right about the more electronic section in the middle, but funnily enough the more electronic songs on Boulet's album are some of my favourites. I'm glad so many people have rated this so high, it's good to see them getting the exposure they deserve. They are the kind of band that could be really huge, at least Triple J huge.
I have seen Parades live with horns, though only two or three times, and not that recently. Also, Alyx is a far better singer than Bec (not that she's bad), as you can see from her (Alyx's) singing in Loserspeak, even though her vocals in it are fairly over the top.
Davey, are you going to review the Kyu album when it comes out?
