“ the title makes it seem low effort”

Half his songs are called either Something or Instrumental, and the rest all have some variation of “Cold”, “Wind”, or “Air” in there, what’s your point?

The new one is really odd but quite lovely. Very meta. It's weird how Phil explains the purpose behind releasing microphones in 2020 as microphones in 2020 by the microphones before you've even finished listening to microphones in 2020.

Oh yeah, 45 minutes of campfire navel gazing and it rules.

Next record's going to be a carefully detailed step-by-step recipe of the Elverum Breakfast Burritos he makes for his daughter to an F#m chord. Fruit flies buzz by the window and you shouldn't swat them. They're just life, and life isn't a metaphor, not anymore. Watch them. Let them land on your toast. Anyway, the trick is to pickle the jalapenos for a few days before you add them to the pico.

Going to 4.5 it
