tbh i liked the new singer dude a lot better than Clint but when I first heard an ocean between us i thought Clint just got better. But this album rules I listened to it all the way through and its pretty badass. Definitely their best effort yet. Good review btw

Rather short review lacking important details in regards to elements of orchestration, structure, performance of songs and lyrics. In my opinion since this is a new album by a band which is dismissed by a huge crowd on sputnik it deserves more than two paragraphs of general thoughts and comments just because of the notoriety surrounding opposing opinions about AILD and their music on this site.
Also the fact that the album only leaked 24hours ago makes it premature to state anything possitive or negative about it at such an early stage.
All those interested stay tuned for a proper review coming up within the next week and after some substantial playing time which will allow for a more realistic and more in-depth analysis.

Where does this album stack from a melodic standpoint? I like my metal core to have strong cleans/great melodies aka, Killswitch. Fuck the haters.

^it's wayyyyy closer to KsE than Converge. It's basically ABR/Unearth with some high-pitched cleans.
