You know how I said this would never be a classic for me? I'm beginning to doubt that statement. Album hits me harder every time I listen to it. Maybe it also has something to do with the fact that we're finally getting some good weather here...

Nacrolepsy and MCDB for the win. Probably the 80th time I've said it, and I don't care.

Narcolepsy's become one of my favourites on the album, and I think I prefer MCDB to God of Wine now

I'm in love with Semi-Charmed Life atm. Can't get the damn vocal hook out of my head. It's probably in my advantage that the singles didn't get any airplay out here, loving them all except Graduate, which is still great.

Though obviously, Narcolepsy, The Background, Motorcycle Drive By and God of Wine all completely destroy those.

My fave of the singles was Hows It Going To Be. Semi Charmed Life is a superb pop song, but it got played into oblivion when it came out, as did Jumper. Graduate wasnt as highly saturated.

there's not a bad song on the album, not even a merely average one. I find myself listening to Semi-Charmed Life, Jumper and How's It Going To Be the least because they all got ridiculously overplayed during my youth. It doesn't mean they're not good, I've just heard them each about 1,000 times.

Which is what I mean by me being in the advantage in that way. I'm hearing the songs now you guys all endlessly heard more than 10 years ago.

Yep, and with that in mind, I can see why you would enjoy it. Its one of the catchiest damn songs ever written.

Definitely. That hook might be the very catchiest ever made.

*plays Semi-Charmed Life again*

yeah, I was definitely obsessed with that song when it came out. I was even still obsessed with it as of like 6 years ago. It's like I go through phases where I'm not at all interested in hearing it for like 5 or 6 years, then I'll go through a month or so where I'll listen to it a couple times a week.

Definitely, probably one of the best three closing track instances I know of. I've just never been a fan of the middle section of the album at all though
