Pretty sure that was the idea of the song. Compared to sssnakepit or Arguing with Thermometers, It has far more replay value than the more straight forward tracks on the album as a result. The lyrics are topical but they said they didn't want to take themselves too seriously... I thought it worked well but I know what you mean.
