I think it is certainly less cohesive but for some reason it just doesn't bother me. For me it's like one of those articles that Decibel publishes called, "Justify your Shitty Taste". Haha.

You dont need to justify liking this album. I just dont get why you prefer it to Sabotage, but to each their own.

I feel like the melody and he synth gives a different dimension to the record, it kind of has the band going outside itself. Sabotage is a very good by he numbers Sabbath record. I appreciate the experimentation here.

Sabotage is hardly "by the numbers", it's easily one of their most experimental/adventurous albums.

Yep. Sabotage was just as experimental as this, maybe even more so since this is pretty stripped down rock n' roll
for the most part.
