I tried, it was fun but I am not a very good guitar player. I'm better playing keyboards( one the reasons I love power metal). Anyways, album is sweet, but my favorite song of deep purple is not here, child in time destroys everything

Usually most of the people that makes destructive critics against power metal have only seen the
covers with dragons of some PM albums or just have heard Through the fire and flames on the guitar
hero and they hate it because their friends and the geeks of their school, college and neighborhood
hyped that song. Most of them haven't checked the music or the lyricism. Besides most of the people
here loves black metal and the generic black metal fan thinks that power metal is too happy for them (
most of those guys haven't checked angra, theocracy, iced earth, kamelot and blind guardian properly),

Hey i play keyboards too and this is why i love power metal so much. The first song i learned on keyboards was Black Diamond.

Made in Japan is easily the best Deep Purple album. None of their studio albums can touch that album, not even In Rock.

If you include their live albums too, then I agree. But then again I can't say that MiJ is easily the best because this one has Pictures of Home and Maybe I'm a Leo which I really love.
