lol

| |
it is man straight up
|
| |
my dick cries to this album
|
| |
bm + post rock is a huge turn off for me
|
| |
well i'm new to bm so i enjoyed it
|
| |
there are some exceptions but a lot of the time i find it feels really cheesy and boring
i like my bm hard cold and fast usually
|
| |
who are your favorite bm bands? i'm trying to get into it
|
| |
just start with the classics
they're classics for a reason
|
| |
"just start with the classics"
which would be? lol i know nothing about bm
|
| |
the classics are like darkthrone, emperor(symphonic bm done right), ulver(though they are folky black metal, Bergtatt is my fav BM release ever), older Immortal (new stuff is more black/thrash but still good), Mayhem, Burzum
those are all great entry-level black metal groups
|
| |
cool thanks
|
| |
yeah, you gotta check Darkthrone's bm trilogy to get an idea of what trve kvlt bm sounds like lol
the production can be off-putting though
|
| |
i'll check a bunch out this weekend!
|
| |
bathory - under the sign of the black mark
darkthrone - transylvanian hunger
burzum - hvis lyset tar oss
mayhem - deathcrush
emperor - in the nightside eclipse
those are pretty much all essential listens regardless of who likes what
|
| |
forgot bathory yeah they were one of earliest pioneers
never really liked under the sign much but i respect its impact on bm
|
| |
i hear about bathory a lot around here
|
| |
quite a bore.
|
| |
bathory, not a bore at all. invigorating music.
|
| |
gonna try venom first since they're black metal/thrash
|
| |
venom doesnt sound like black metal at all
they coined the term and did the whole satanic thing but the first actual black metal band was bathory
and if you want black thrash listen to sarcofago its better anyways
