I haven’t talked to a single person irl who can hear it. I’m under the impression that everybody I know is gaslighting me.

Maybe it’s just the old CD mix, there was a shit load of high frequency feedback all over the album. The beginning of threads of sincerity is one of the worst offenders. I just gave it a listen on phone speakers though and didn’t hear it so maybe the streaming mix is different or they fixed it at some point

The ending of Reach the End had an awful high pitched ringing on the cd that I can’t hear on the Spotify mix now.

Yeah that’s how it was sprinkled across the whole album. Super high pitched feedback… but not the good kind

I remember going through the iTunes previews and you could hear them there too. I guess they sneakily fixed it for the most part (you can still hear bits of feedback on reach the end if you listen for them)

Yeah high pitched feedback is present in the first track on Tidal. Not sure I like this as much as most of your other recommendations. Some good songs, mostly ok songs. Thinking of a 3.2 now
