Well, at least Beach House keeps improving, as this is their best album thus far. The melodies are the star of the show here and for the most part are really impressive. Along with the more diverse range of instruments, they make 'Teen Dream' the duo's most accessible release yet. Victoria Legrand's male-sounding vocals go a little overboard though, and Beach House still don't look to break out of that trademark languid pace. The better songs on here are really good, but 50 odd minutes of this stuff is a bit hard to sit through. Recommended Tracks: Zebra, Lover of Mine & Norway.
