There's a recent interview I read with Troy. He said the new album is nearly done and it's supposed to come out at the end of this year (which I doubt) or next year (much more likely).
More importantly, he said it was going to be more bluesy and riff-y so could that mean it's going to be more like Era or something totally different? Either way, I'll love whatever music that band puts out.

Saw them this summer and they played a tune I didn't know (I was shocked!) so I thought it was a new song and it destroyed. But apparently it was called "The Fun Machine Took A Shit And Died", which is a lost recording or something... I sure hope the new album will feature it though.

Haha, yeah that's an old track of theirs. It's on the Era Vulgaris b-side compilation. That entire compilation is actually really good though.
