Torch song ftw bitches. But srsly, the only reason I have this at a 4.5 is because of the extra tracks. get them.

This made my ears bleed due to the sheer crappiness executed by this band.

i disagree. but im sorry.

listening to this now, so far my impression is that aside from a few good songs/licks, the album is generally a bland slab of pop punk

Incidentally, I agree.

Really dig the album; definitely not amazing but good; keeps me entertained and really haven't wanted to turn it off yet, unlike most stuff after a few tracks.

i think this review is off after half way through listening on the second go. The vocals seem pretentious and the songs have good leads, but lack depth

scratch that my album quality is horrible. ill give an actual opinion when i've actually listened to it

I love "Crash Love" pity Dave de sylvia didn't include the four bonus tracks on the Deluxe Edition. These four tracks are nearly the best overall. They were the overall highlight and standout for me. "Fainting Spells" with Dave's soft melodious voice, sets the scene of tranquility then works its way up to a crashing and deafening chorus..which shoots straight to your heart, its pure bliss. The song rises and falls and builds and it just makes you want to replay it over and over again.
Some of the newer sounds on the album make it very easy listening but also provide some great riffs from Jade, "de sylvia" got it right with "OK I feel better now" but I liked too "End Transmission" not so much riffy but more poppy but non the less engaging.
Overall, although different from "Decemberunderground" which may not appeal to the more hardened fans of "Miss Murder" I still reckon its worth a listen so you can make up your own mind, afterall it's still Dave singing and its still definately AFI!
