Draconian Times probably. However, I'm a fan of Believe in Nothing which was, along with Host, quite a departure from their usual style into more hard rock/industrial-oriented teritory.

Thanks.

I figured out what the problem is - the production is good, but the drums sound like they were recorded in a garage or something.

In Requiem is aamzing and obviously cloest to this since it's the previous record.

Finally got around to hearing it. Indeed, it slays. Great riffs and of course I dig the vocals. The title track is my favorite.

Draconian Times is good and has a few really good songs but it drags a bit half way through. This album and the one before are better (and Icon is still their best).

This album deserves more credit. It's their best work since Draconian Times and Icon by far. Even better than those imo

Unfortunately, this isn't quite as good as the previous album but the title track kills hard.

Funny, I felt the same thing... and I still listen to this pretty regularly too.

I still need to buy this because the cymbals on what I have sound like crap.

I swear, As Horizons End is probably the most epic track these guys have written. It's already like my fave song by these guys now.

If every track on this was like the title track I would probably like this a lot more.

I was disappointed by this to be honest. I loved Symbol of Life and self titled. In Requiem was good too. But this didn't get to me like those did.

I might try it again to see if I change my mind.

As Horizons End is brilliant though. Possibly my favourite song by them (either this or Erased). I don't know what it is with me and the first song on an album..

My first question would be how much you liked their earliest albums (Icon, Draconian Times).
