Yeah, when you can buy a record and pay a dollar for every minute of music, somethings fucked.

Hydra Head is still responsible for helping a shit ton of amazing bands. One of my favorite record labels. Besides, the vinyls aren't THAT overpriced, since they average about $20 for an LP.

Well I was talking about buying cd's in general, but $20 for vinyl doesn't really seem that bad. If aus and US are pretty much buck for buck these days, that's really reasonable.

That is a rather flawed philosophy, especially in capitalism. I imagine that they are set to that price for a reason.

the hydra head store is why i buy my LPs from the bands on tour or on eBay. they have a physical location (vacation vinyl in LA) that i go to every once and a while but the prices there are still kind of high.

Well, I've never met him in person, so I don't know if he's an asshole or not. I don't want to imagine the mastermind behind Isis and Hydra Head's roster being a douche.

Just because you meet someone and they're nice, doesn't mean they're not an arsehole in other matters. Like money.

...aren't we all music guys here?

I don't see how listening to an album lets you know if someone is a douche or not, unless you're talking about something else that I'm blanking on.

Really liking this. Drumming is wicked in most songs, and riffs are amazing.
