Above the Weeping World & Since the Day it All Came Down are far better than this.

this band represents melo death as a whole nowadays: Some glimmers and points of respectablity, drowned by copy cating and boring repetitive song structures.

this album is all the bad tho.

Ive come to the conclusion that Garden of Shadows Oracle Moon > all of Insomnium's albums.

i don't really see how you can disagree with the review; this is yet another samey release by a samey band in a stagnant genre. Its good, nothing more nothing less

Still have to get this one. Completely love the 3 previous albums, and I'm sure I'll love this one too despite what the review suggest. Your opinions have been acknowledged, though.

On another note.. Miseration - The Mirroring Shadow and Scar Symmetry - Dark Matter Dimensions owned 2009 and pleased my tastes. Solution .45's debut For Aeons Past is really amazing too. I've listened to it atleast 90 times over (no jokes) since I got it, and it just keeps getting more amazing. Might write a review for you, who knows.

Being a poet myself, I found Insomnium's lyrics to be really, and I mean really awesome. So.. Can anybody tell me how they convey the lyrics to appeal to the overal music?

Yeah I don't really get how someone could like Insomnium's first three albums and not this one. It's pretty damn solid.

nah, love this band's stuff. Not as big a fan as since the day... as many are, but this and above the weeping world are some of my favs in melodeath
