I actually thought they were better when they were a deathcore band. It seems funny or ironic or something, but as a Deathcore band they stood out, as a Death Metal entity, they're very mediocre and just seem to blend in with the crowd.

I sat down and listened to a bit of this on grooveshark a while ago. I was surprised how good it was. O_O Not amazingly awesome, but it does redeem them from the crapfests that were Genesis and Doom.

Doom is their only release that doesn't sound remotely forced.
Plus, I love Elliott's drum fills, even if his blasts are sloppy as hell.
And Johnny's vocals on Doom are just all around better.
