it's actually a healthy way of coping, i wouldn't do it with the intention of yielding irreparable damage to a vein or artery.. it's merely a delicate bruise, a fragile brush brushing on a white canvas.
|
| |
as poetic as that is, it's not a good path to even start down. There are constructive ways to cope, and cutting isn't one of them. Do some sit-ups. I promise they hurt just as much.

exercise releases endorphines at a rate inferior to self-harm. It does however sound healthier but not particularily immediate, sorry.. but yes i've been trying to leave behind some obsessions yes, and i've held on to them for far too long perhaps if there's such a thing as meta abjection no oh well
|
| |
Yeah, but if you only do things that satisfy a desire for immediate satisfaction you'll never progress. I've seen people beat depression, and every time it's been because they worked hard at it. I'm glad you're being careful, but I hope you can find another release soon.

Because you seem like a smart guy (you're certainly eloquent). The world needs more of that.

also you appear to like Kubrick films
|
| |
@treeqt i did forget that, consider the comment rescinded.
uh, yeah, Kubrick is the man. I think I've seen space odyssey ten times. It's my favorite film.
|
| |
Have you seen any of the crazy analysis videos of the shining? I enjoyed watching them almost as much as I did the movie itself.
I can understand why space odyssey would bore you, but to me it's fine art in movie form and the pinnacle of sci-fi, one of my favorite genres.
