not 100% sure... it was either the first or second maudlin song I ever heard (with blue ghost #1). the
majestic calm of the opening riff and violin melody, toby's slow, deliberate cadence running over
those haunting lyrics, the swell of voices as they hit the "the dynamooooo," the climactic transition
into the instrumental exuberance and pleasure of the second half... idk. so perfectly otherwordly.
it's the perfect blend of the accessible and weird, the simple and the complex, the best things i like
from maudlin and kayo dot. just stuck with me :S

That's a wonderful way you've described the song. Not all of it totally made sense to me, but I can tell you're impassioned by your adoration for the song so I don't think it matters much that you didn't quite perfectly capture your feelings in words.
I agree with the opening though, it's so perfect.

yeah I just love that song too much. I would probably agree that this is a worse overall album than lybm (and definitely bath) but it's got a special place.
