Album is very good indeed. Kind of sounds like mixture of Sting and Talk Talk.

This has that jazz fusion influenced rhythm section sound that Talk Talk gradually used with each album. And I get hearing some Sting in here.

This definitely has a super polished jazzy feel to it that's not entirely unlike what Sting was making at the same time, just less overtly poppy.

Seriously though, I would bet money that Sting jerks himself off to this record.

Listening to this makes me feel like some cranky middle-aged dude who thinks all music past the year 1990 sucks.

Boney, you'd be surprised by the rest of Sylvian's output then

Not sure how to feel after 2 listens, there's clearly a lot of skill here but it feels polished to a fault and the adult contemporary feeling it gives me is a tad offputting.

Tbh Doof I'm a bit baffled by your 5 on this, I guess this is where the old man in you really comes out.
