I hadnt really checked how it held up on here i just remember roadrunner dropping them for that album cuz of sales and articles in mags saying it was a weak effort. I like you think its the more well written album but again like you if i wanna listen to something really heavy by them its always off Impossbility of Reason, Pure Hatred and The Dehumanizing Process or untouchable

yeah The Dehumanizing Process is what I meant instead of Down Again (which is more of a slow/melodic song if I remember correctly).
I've never listened to Incantation Dryden. can I still enter?

These guys have enormous potential but I have a feeling they are aiming for simplicity on purpose. Its time ( it's been what..like 5 albums) to pull themselves together and make the ultimate brutal metalcore+groove metal+ DM album, because I'm certain they can.

I fucking loved Resurrection. But I've always had trouble with understanding how this band is metalcore. Always felt like pure metal to me, thrash/death with lots of groove. I mean when I listen to other metalcore bands, they don't feel a bit like Chimaira does.
