I honestly have to agree, on multiple listens it really loses it magic (with the exception of Ashes in the Snow and Everlasting Light)

I haven't heard many more than 10 post-rock albums, but aside from GY!BE this is my favorite. The orchestra makes this so powerful.

Idk I get bored of a hell of a lot of post-rock but this holds so so much. The whole thing still seems absolutely riveting to me. For a post-rock album of this style to ever overtake it doesn't even seem plausible. I will always play this record if I need crescendos and epic inspiration.
