Apparently they are, I never knew about it and I don't think they were open about it. I think it's kinda more like they were a band who's members had christian backrounds especially since I saw them at warped tour in 2005 and James looked down at me in the front row and said I'D FUCK YOU and later threw a spoon in the crowd since apparently everyone in Pittsburgh is a heroin addict.

For what it reminds me of and sounds like From Here On is way better. I know Zao is considered a classic band but I don't really like them, I think alot of other bands from their time were way better.
