Toby Driver wrote The Lugubrious Library Loft with the sole intention of getting Mia Matsumiya to make out with him under the guise of it being some "experimental vocal

I almost wrote a comment as long as a review lol but basically to me the meaning behind Marathon,at least the spoken lyrics represent the way we in which we perceive objects and the external world.

Hmmm...I think this is maybe Kayo's least adventurous album (which isn't saying much), but I can't see it as their worst

Toby whispering sweet nothings into my ear is half the reason that I listen to this album, the other half being the clarinet in The Manifold Curiosity.

Oh and the end of A Pitcher of Summer.

Oh and the rest.

It is pretty great. Hearing the Coyote/BLD tracks live makes them so much more appealing to me.

Without a doubt one of the best things Driver's ever had his name attached to

This album is truly beautiful, it resonates like a dark phantasm, with its blend of neo-classical, sludge metal and post-rock. This is one of the most creative, unique and beautiful albums iv'e ever heard.

This is a great review as well,
