"TPOF is one of my favorite albums"

Album is a strong 4.5 for me, I don't have a lot of experience with emo but TPOF is the cream of the crop from the few albums I've heard (unless Deja Entendu counts, in which case I'd have to go with that one due to nostalgia)

"i mean not really it's classic 90s emo no post hardcore whatsoever"

the 'classic 90s emo' you mentioned originated from post-hardcore though and the influence of it can be heard on the power of failing, while endserenading is more dominated by the post-rock-y atmosphere. both have the same core sound though (which, indeed, is the classic 90s emo)

art is right that a lot of 90s emo borrows from post-hardcore but i don't see that in mineral very much

it is the song that most shows it yeah but the influence can be found all over the album in the heavier bits

I can see where Art is coming from, but I wouldn't go quite as far as saying it's definitely post-hardcore influenced. It has its moments, but not enough to call it straight up post-hardcore influenced.

But you just said it's less present here due to the post-rock influence
