Yeah, the music is about as good a breakup album as there is. Plenty of emotional potency there.

Axl put everything he's got into this, whether you like it or not is one thing but no one can say he didn't give it his all

First 1 minute of Chinese Democracy was interesting, but then I remembered that I don't even like Guns n' Roses. Just as well, because everything after that minute was awful

Somewhat an improvement compared to their previous album, however pretty indifferent.

Very underrated album. Axl's vocals are the greatest on this album than any other GN'R album

"not really, it's pretty much proof Axl Rose sucks"

His 'singing' may be a bit weak, but there are some pretty great lyrics here. Think of him as a latter day Bob Dylan.

Album is excellent and very underrated in my opinion, Axl's not in his best singing but he's at a surprisingly good form considering his age, and some of his lyrics are very good.

The high notes that Axl hits in songs like "There Was A Time" and "Street Of Dreams" is ridiculous. In terms of when Axl shows his greatest vocal ability, Chinese Democracy is the album to listen to

Don't forget "Catcher In The Rye", awesome emotional song, Brian May's playing on that track is outstanding.

Brian May's guitar work never made it on the album

Not sure if I'm just really late to the party, but a new guns n roses song leaked in 2013 called 'Going Down' and I think its pretty awesome. Axl is back up singer on the track.
