Yeah, a 3 is brutal, I admit. I should re raise it, but I generaly rate albums on a higher scale when I have them. I have been on a major droute lately. It fucking sucks but hopefully this brings me out fo my funk. I haven't listened to it as much as I should.

I mean, a 3.5 does equal "great" and it is a great album but there are some things I wish were different.

Thansk for reminding me, I need to put that Void of Silence album on again. I listened to it once more after I spoke to you last and bumped it to a 4, but need one more listen to be sure. I really love Nemtheanga, he's so bloody good.

I listened to some samples from Primordial (I don't know what) and I didn't like his vocals in that band for some reason. I'm going to try again because I love his vocals in Void of Silence.

Im sorry, but March October is my fav song on this album, it has some Floyd flair minus the vocals, but its incredible listening to it in darkness aloud over the headphones :-)
But the album itself is blowin the mind.

Initial thoughts: Awesome. At least a 4, this is some quality funeral doom. It's funny because funeral doom is one of those genres which I really have trouble getting into, but this album is just easy to listen to. I'll give it a few more spins before I decide on a final rating though.
