will killingsworth is most likely my favourite GUITAR PLAYER but as terms as just favourite musician overall i'd probably say Sam Ray just all things considered

yak grew up on teen suicide and i grew up on minor threat, maybe that's where the parallels come from lol

man yea idk they're just special to me like i get ppl thinking they're mediocre or w/e but i've always seen a lot of beauty in sam ray's work and that project was just kinda like... idkkk
like dc snuff film for example is perfect because it's like stoned kids playing garage rock and they're sad as fuck but they don't really care because they're so high agh it's beautiful and perfectly describes vibes i used to get all the time and still get to some extent

i get sad and jam black flag usually, really just any sort of punk band like that. plus, the post-Damaged era of Flag was dominated by drugs hehe
