Like most, I hated this album when it was released. Slowly grew on me over a decade or so. When you listen to it under the lens of an angry divorce album, and without any expectations of what it should sound like, it's actually a pretty incredible album. An absolutely unfiltered volcano of paranoid, terrified rage.

Surrender Your Sons is like a top 5 norma jean track to me.



Redeemer to Wrongdoers is a very strong run for the band, not that their newer stuff is really any worse

Granted it’s only after my first listen. But for me up to this point, this shit is up there with the best of their work! This may be a little premature and maybe I’ll take it back but this seems almost as good as Wrongdoers.



The song with chino is fucking stellar, the opener and closer, robots 3 humans 0 etc. good shit man!
