and people not knowing what metalcore and deathcore has NOTHING to do with MY musical tastes.

Yeah dude! I thought the whitechapel album was ace. But emmure I'll have to disagree with...I love them and Im seeing them tonight, but the new album blowsssss.

I still enjoy the song Bezerker, but yeah the breakdowns are a too overdone in this. Sometimes they even drag out so long that they become awkward... hmm.

I have the intuition to believe this is a great album. It's sorta like a jack of all trades, but master of non thing for me. Still love it. And emmure is not a premier metal band, they are actually consider a breakdown band by the law of physics. So you can consider them a premier breakdown band if you desire, whether you think that is a good or bad thing is up to you.

this album has some genuinely great tracks, but as a whole it gets boring fast. just listen to the tracks on their myspace for a better summary of their good points.
