It's aging very well because most music these days sounds apathetic in comparison, and the gap is only widening. Like Billie Eilish is supposed to be the new face of pop music, she's basically mumble-pop.

tfw I can't slander billie eilish anymore since she now has 1 good song, and that one song is amazing rip
I didn't have nostalgia for this but I still somehow like it a bit.

I just received this as a gift and was rather sceptical about this band... but this is Well thought out and arranged mainstream Rock with a few Real gems (welcome to the Black Parade, house of wolves, sleep). Damn, andusually I mostly hate 21st century mainstream Rock but this seriously is very nice!

Ngl the artwork is the main reason I checked out The Notwist. Zero regrets.

I didn't like this album as Much in its own era, (Has aged beautifully, fatefully I guess).

I was obsessed with it back in its time. It's nowhere near as impressive to me now that I'm more musically experienced, but it still has charm. I kept the 5 because it was pretty influential towards shaping my taste in music.

I'll fight tooth and claw that the end of Mama is one of my favourite moments in the entirety of music. And yeah, this was hella influential in my taste too. I was already into Dire Straits and Black Sabbath but those were because of CDs my parents had. I think I got this and American Idiot at the same Christmas and it was kinda the blue-touch paper.
Got a KT Tunstall CD too. That was nice.

Because at that time I didn't understand any of the moments that happened, now when I' listen to this album, I understand the fragments of what happened at that moment,, the screaming in that era, the making sense out of it, I too was too drowned, so I didn't understand anything,
Good for you though, that you were there when it was happening, and understood..
