Danny Brown listed this as one of his favourite albums, which reminded me how much I used to love it. Spinning it for the first time in 15 years. It's OK. I still love the short vignettes (especially Am I Going Crazy), which really intrigued me as a kid.
Album is definitely overlong though, and doesn't quite reach the highs of Follow the Leader

Strangely enough this is absolutely a headphone album. I listened to the first half on my stereo and it sounded OK, but for the second half on headphones the production and mix just blew my away. This album sounds good.

Man does Dirty slay, the chorus sounds legit heavy and the melodic bridge is unexpected and satisfying

"I just want to laugh again" such a simple but effective lyric. Great song.

My main problem is that having a huge-sounding chorus in every song makes it a tiresome album to sit through especially when they are repeated a lot. The instruments under them do help at least, I already said it but I think this is a properly gloomy and heavy album. Pretty cathartic riffs
