good bump timing, I jammed this on the way to work....either it still holds up, or my rose tinted goggles do -- doesn't matter

Let's gooooo! Seeing Dashboard Confessional in 2023 feels weird, was quite surprised to see him supporting!

Trying to think of emo/screamo from this era that still holds up and this is still the King, right? Like it's not making me cringe like a lot of stuff from the early-mid 2000s does and it's still catchy as shit.

this was one of the best eras in the genre, most, if not all, of the great releases have aged well, what exactly are you reffering to?

unless we are talking lyrics and themes I don't see this being the case

I was 15 when this came out and I think the only similar albums I still listen to in full at least a few times a year are probably Pass The Flask by The Bled and Three Cheers by MCR

The fun thing is I got into death metal a couple of years after this came out and didn’t listen to any of these albums for 5 or 6 years so had the immense pleasure of rediscovering them once I realised it’s ok to like all genres

I think they’re just doing nostalgia gigs tbh onion so I don’t think they’ll ever do a big tour outside the UK again but I guess they could join a big festival or two for the odd date or something, fingers crossed for you!

I’m so glad they’re doing these reunion shows because me and my wife had tickets for their last show but it got rescheduled three times because of covid and clashed with our Alkaline Trio/Taking Back Sunday double header so we missed it!
