Alchemy Alice is also incredible dude. That song actually has pretty great production IMO. Idk why some songs have worse production than others but it doesn't bother me.

I love how raw this album sounds... its like that much more personal and relatable

Agreed hard. I can understand not liking it but the overly raw nature as a flaw, everything else just makes up for that flaw

SpaceMan, if this album was a steak, it would be a terrible steak, because it's too raw.

haha it would also be too dark, juicy, and rather dated

and the production really only stands in the way for the first few listens. Its pretty easy to get over it

So much talk here :o

Freaks & Animals is indeed a really cool song. If you haven't, you should check out the live version from Seattle on youtube. Drew does a cool improvised intro and the overall performance is great.

My favourites by these guys keep changing, currently I'd say it's a five-way tie between Alchemy Alice, Scissorlips, Weevil Bride, River of Glass and Downhill(goddamn that climax!).

Also, I like Feathergun more because I feel that's where they really came into their own as a band, but the improved production doesn't hurt either. I should probably 5 this anyway, as I enjoy it as much as I do my other 5s, but ehhhh.
