Natures way is one of the smoothest jams ever.
Nothing touches Mr Skin, such a jam

that is a strong statement my man
id say Anthem of the Sun from the Dead
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.0
he has every right to say that, bro
also grateful dead are overrated af imo
|
| |
Anthem is best Dead but it's still a long way from this, although it's hard to compare as they're totally different types of psych. I'll always gravitate towards this as its song writing is on another level compared to other classic psych albums.

at least we are not arguing whether it is Sgt Peppers, so I will give it to you,
so many great psych albums from 66-71, I can't really pick, but both talked about would be in the discussion
top 5 Jamie?, i'll think of mine and get back

Anthem of the SUn/ The Grateful Dead
We Are only in it for the Money /The Mother's Of Invention
S.F. sorrow/ the Pretty Things
Easter Everywhere/ 13th floor elevators
Pipers at the gates of Dawn/ Pink floyd
so many more that I want to call out but, anyway that is a start
|
| |
Off the top of my head, my top 5 classic psych (so 60's/early 70's) would probably be something like:
This
The 13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere (virtual high five for that one)
Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum
Love - Forever Changes
The United States of America - s/t

Album Rating: 4.0
Blue Cheer was in the head as well
have not heard, The USA
you should check Sam Gopal/ escalator, obscure album with lead singer Lemmy, you would have no idea, and the album kicks ass, doom psych
