Well they said that when they were going to record DTGL, so I'd imagine it will turn out heavier.

this album is painfully average but it's dangerous business walking out your front door and some will seek forgiveness rule hard.

This is Underoath as best, One of the best cd's in this genre.

And one of my favourite overall.

only one complaint about the review and it's a small one. there are two singers in underoath not one.

i do disagree with the rating though, the album was very good especially for Spencer Chamberlain's introduction into the band.

and one thing i do not understand about people who review Christian music, is the fact that people listen to the album with the mindset that it is a worship album. underoath is not a worship band. they have an underlying christian message but i do not believe that they preach in their songs.

I used to like this band, but they're too emo sounding for me now.

basically the only reason i keep this as a 4 is the memories i have listening to this. but it's basically pop songs with some mediocre screaming. how they went from this to Define the Great Line is beyond me

This is like Post-Hardcore that wants to be punk-pop. The only album by them I don't listen to

decent, but nothing amazing. good for a change after listening to define the great line for a long time =P.

the ONLY thing I prefer on this album is the use of the keyboards/samples etc

God, f*ck this CD. Define The Great Line is sooooooo much better. Underoath has a wealth of talent and could be more than what they are right now (i.e., a Botch ripoff with pop hooks), but I really, really dislike how they shove their moralizing Christian B.S. down everyone's throats. The Warped Tour documentary where they got kicked off for preaching too much was hilarious.
