Why does everyone hate "This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song"? It's one of the best on the album.

I was never really a fan of System Of A Down. A friend of mine told me to go get Hypnotize and Mezmerize and see what I thought of them. I've been listening to these two albums for the past couple of days, and I love them.

I don't understand why every hates This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song and Sad Statue. They're better than the last 2 songs, IMO.

i can pretty much stand any kind of music. theres 2 things i cant stand: death metal, and system of a down. this cd was terrible. it had awesome guitar parts but the lyrics were senseless and obnoxious. listening to this album makes me want to go smash my ipod



i did admire question though. but it gets old after awhile. just the way that the singers sing is so...annoying. the sarj guy or w/e has a cool voice but the mouse guy is just too much. and the obnoxious screaming. if this band could make an album where they didnt rap and didnt do as much of the obnoxious screaming this band would be awesome. but this type of music (if it is concidered music) is too much for my brain to stand



and they dont sound anything like chevelle or mudvayne, those bands are awesome.

Yeah this coming from someone whos name is I caught fire. Go listen to the used and stop flaming System - even though this album isnt that good. The Used suck and that is the crappest song i have ever heard. Only chicks like that song (unless you are one?).

Once again, a great review from Clumpy. I have to say, this is my least favourite and least listened to System album and the only consolation for me was that its still superior than most other bands. Maybe I expect too much from them, but this Cd was a dissappointment. After much thought, I have pin-pointed the problem. Daron, while he is a great guitarist, is not a strong vocalist or as strong a lyricist as serj (in my humble opinion). His lyrics are simple and his voice only has about two levels, one of them is a scream. B.Y.O.B and Question (the latter penned by Serj) are the strongest tracks. Have System run out of inspiration, or anger or opinion?? Don't mean to be harsh Daron, but leave the vocals to Serj.

Great review, this album is excellent. I can listen 2 it from the 1st track 2 the last track. "Lost In Hollywood" is such a great song! Along with BYOB and Sad Statue.



P.S. Your review of S.OA.D. 'S 1st album inspired me 2 buy it. I think thats Systems best album but this on is a close second.

What the fuck!? SOAD is becoming insane! Their songs are becoming suckier! This is gay! At least I have some favorite songs such as "Question!" and "Sad Staue". That is all!
