well i like it comparatively
it's a pretty average album by itself, but next to the rest of the atreyu catalog, it's great

Im a little surprised at the hate for this band. I consider this a bit of a metalcore classic.

I always liked how they gave the last solo of the album to the rhythm guitarist. Lip Gloss and Black is this band's best song.

I do like this album a fair bit, but the production and the vocals (except for the cleans) have a tendency to drive me up a wall.

I agree, and feel the same way about The Curse. They improved in both departments immensely on Deathgrip, though.

Honestly, Congregation and Long Live are my favorites from this band.

I'm sure that I will never tread into anything this band has done after Deathgrip.

I don't blame you, Lead Sails is hit-or-miss and In Our Wake is pretty mediocre, but I love Congregation and Long Live.

I got ain't love grand on a sampler and initially thought wtf is with this guy's voice. Then I grew to love it.

I like Alex's vox but he didn't sound particularly good on this album.
