it's darker more experimental and it's almost nothing like their other two albums.
you should listen to it.
also i thought the same about "the rip" at first, but i absolutely love it now and i think it fits with the cathartic atmosphere of the album

it has the atmosphere of dummy (if youve heard that), but its amped up and less trip-hoppy. it borders on experimental rock sometimes

I can listen to death metal about child sacrifice, no problem - but I have to force myself to play this.

Holy moly this is such a nice record, wasn't sure how I'd feel returning to it but soooooo good, might raise my rating half a point. The triumvirate of 'Machine Gun', 'Small' & 'Magic Doors' is like a 6/5.

I have Dummy (marginally) ahead of this but both are way better than the s/t. You should still listen to it though, it's very good, just not on the same level for me.
