This sounds like a spiritual successor to one of the Talk Talk post rock albums.

This album takes me to a rural place with many trees, a forest nearby, fields of flowers and stinging nettles. And a beekeeping but with no beekeeper or any other person around. And It's a sunny day. A great imaginary place far away from busy city life. And what a nice scent the flowers have.
The first song The Driver is by far my least favourite song, but it's ok. Next songs are all amazing with great atmosphere. I'm glad I have also found the vinyl only bonus track Junkyard Priest, it's great.
The only album I have by them and I think it's great place to start with this band. The songs are very long but in a positive way, they're repetitive but with subtle little things and sounds suddenly appearing. I never get bored by it.

I'm for sure gonna go back an re-listen to their first few after this, maybe it's one of those "once you hear the accessible one the others start making sense" situations

Yeah this isn't drone-metal by any stretch, which is probably why I like it more lol.

I've listened to Earth like ages ago. However , Allmusic states that Neurosis was inspired by Earth(I was digging into some Post-Metal stuff) , therefore I'm listening to this ablum.
