Bumped this up to a 5 today. There is just absolutely nothing I don't like about this album, and so many things I love. My biggest complaint with Post-Rock is that in order to build up to the epic climaxes it sometimes has, a lot of times songs start out real slow/soft, but on this album the slow and soft parts are awesome, and in BBF3, the interview is just as good as the climax IMO (which is unbelievable). And in Moya when it's building and you can hear a form of the melody behind all the instruments building, but it's not quite at the forefront, then the release when the melody comes soaring out on top of everything. Jesus Cock.

'tis pretty sexy. More post-rock needs to step it the fuck up and stop being gay and copying everyone else. Especially with that fast bottom strings hitting build up shit that Mono (and everyone else) does.

Yeah qwe i saw it in the John Peel Sessions comments too- what's with the Mono hate? They're not Godspeed but I think they're damn good.

I wasn't hating on them specifically. I was hating on the constant use of that stupid guitar build up that everyone seems to use and they seem to use it most so they were used as my example.

Even GY!BE use it, but it's not the main focus.

Tremolo picking? I don't know what you're talking about, haha.

I haven't really given them a good listen, but I don't really find Mono that interesting. Probably just me though.

I like Mono but it all blends together sometimes for me. Tremolo picking is the term I was looking for, I just couldn't think of it for the life of me.

Yeah Powerban I know what you're saying about that style. It was more directed at qwe because he seems to have some genuine hatred for mono.

I know what you mean about the tremolo picking, Explosions in the sky do it all the time too, its definitely overused
