Imaginations, I'm Alive, Mordred's Song, Bright Eyes, and And the Story Ends are some of the best songs power metal has to offer imo. It's a gold mine really. Then again, it doesn't have the variety and conclusiveness of this release. Imaginations works better as a collection of songs, this one works better as a whole, especially after reading the Silmarillion, which really expands the experience of listening to this by a whole lot.

I burned a copy of this record without the interludes and it's basically flawless. Into the Storm and Mirror Mirror are probably the two best power metal tracks ever written. Nightfall and Time Stands Still are perfect, too.
