this band taught me what "milquetoast" means

This was recommended to me by Steve Albini. Ok - the worst vocalist I ever heard bar none, also the rhythm section of this band is stale af.

Baseline comin in with the worst takes
|

Also why did this get frogstomp’d? : (

| |
Damn that take above is hurting my eyes
|

Imagine calling Stanier's playing stale holy shit
|
| |
Stanier can do with a simple drum set what Lars can't do with a Neil Peart's drum set.

Absolutely, have seen some amazing live performances with Tomahawk on YouTube. Incredible energy.

I think I Know might be my favorite song of all time. I’m not even sure if it’s a personal connection, it’s just a perfectly written song. The intro, the little guitar break, the deceptively simple verses that are secretly a 3:4 polyrhythm, the way the vocals flow with the riff, the bass fill in the chorus, the bridge, the pause before the guitar solo, the solo itself, everything about it fits. I don’t think any song has blurred raw aggression and pure beauty as well as this, or at least in the way this song has woven the two concepts

debut is better agreed

Debut is very good. Bogdan/Stanier era Helmet is untouchable.
Park I’ve noticed you’ve really got a thing for trashy (in a good way) production
