Dark Moor's HoOD is a great album I'll give you that, but it sounds really generic compared to most Kamelot's albums, especially this one.

Nosir. For the most part, power metal is just not my thing. The majority I've checked out (basically all the entry-level/essential bands) are rather cheesy, which is good enough in small doses to me. Kamelot just never comes across as cheesy to my ears, and seem to convey genuine emotion.
