I actually haven't heard this album yet, i'm behind the times I know. Most likely would be a 3 which the songs i've already heard.

It's boring, the shows good but this is kinda bad. He has no variety in his vocals, boring guitar work and average drumming. I know it's a spoof album as such, but it doesn't stop it from being dull.

I could see the lack of vocal variety bothering someone (but an opeth fan? that doesn't make any sense at all)...Since it's a comedic album and you really can't do "funny" things with a guitar on a death metal album, they are there mostly to chug...
the drums are better than average though man, Gene Hoglan doesn't do average

Ok, I admit the drums are better than average but there is no denying the rest of the work on this album instrumentally and vocally is dull.

I agree but the album got me into the show not vice versa...Mermaider nd Thunderhorse both are excellent/humorous tracks and the rest of the album is solid to great

I just heard Birthday Dethday and it was pretty awesome. I don't think I liked the other songs off of the album that I heard though.

I don't have cable so I can't watch Metalocalypse, but based on clips I've seen this show is hilarious, and despite not being a "real band" they are pretty damn sweet. And who is that voice on Hatredcopter? I think it's Devin Townsend but I'm not sure. No one else is for that matter.
