seriously though the melodies they pull off are incredible... it's not like a lot of melodic death bands who are content with simple, repetitive melodic riffs, insomnium have really weaving melodies and some sick guitar tone that makes them seem more complex than they really are

The melodies is what I've always loved so much about this band. I think they perfect it on Since The Day.

Wow I gave this another chance after jamming and loving Since the Day It All Came Down and I'm actually starting to appreciate it.
Kinda the same thing that happened to me with Converge and Jane Doe.... Will update my rating appropriately after another listen.

It's been a 2.5 for years for me bros.
Like I said though, I'm jamming this again now and the rating is gonna jump. Mortal Share is still one of the best songs I've ever heard.
